NESS Super default cover

Lower premiums for Death & TPD insurance from 1 July 2016

From 1 July 2016 NESS Super members will pay close to 15% less for Death & Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) insurance without any reduction in terms and conditions and in the level of cover.

While many super funds’ have increased their insurance premiums in recent years, this is the second year in a row that we’ve lowered the premiums our members pay for Death and TPD cover.

The new weekly premium per one unit of default insurance cover will be $1.31 for Death cover and $1.76 for TPD cover with the premium for our Temporary Salary Continuance (TSC) cover premiums remaining the same at $0.66 per unit.

Has your insurance got you covered?

With lower premiums for insurance cover, now is a good time to review your cover and check it’s right for you. You can tailor your insurance cover with NESS Super to meet your individual and family needs.  We have flexible options for younger members, easy upgrades when you first join as an employer-sponsored member, as well as for specific life events, for example, getting married or taking out a mortgage.
